HCI Pillar 3 Midterm Conference

The Higher Education 4.0 team were delighted to be a part of the HCI Midterm conference which took place in the convention centre on the 29th June and coincided with the launch of the HCI Pillar 3 midterm report.

The midterm report shows that the programme, which Higher Education 4.0 is a part of, is exceeding its targets on the creation of new courses, with over 1,000 created – 800 more than the initial target. A very impressive 4,000 additional student places have been achieved through direct funding, with a significant number still expected as projects mature. The event exhibition provided a showcase all the 24 projects innovations and collaborations, which make up the HCI Pillar 3 collaboration nation. We particularly enjoyed meeting the team members from the other projects and seeing the inspiring and innovative work that is taking place in third level education in Ireland.

A highlight for the team was introducing the project to Minister for Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris.
