Supporting over 20 Atlantic Technological University free courses (also known as MOOCs - Massive Open Online Courses), Higher Education 4.0 recently caught up with PhD Researcher Fauzia Mahanaz Shorobi, who spoke about the benefits of taking the Ocean Pollution free course.
Said Fauzia: “I wanted to deepen my understanding of broader ocean pollution issues, and the course appeared to be an ideal opportunity to explore interdisciplinary perspectives and practical solutions.
“My experience of the course was highly positive and enriching. It was engaging and well-structured, making it easy to understand the material. Throughout the course, we explored different types of pollution in detail, looking at their characteristics and sources.
“The overview of how pollutants move through the environment was particularly enlightening, showing the complex interactions in ecosystems.
The discussions on how pollution affects marine life were alarming and eye-opening, reminding us of the delicate balance in our environment.”
