MAJOR AWARDS
Higher Education 4.0 developed two Major Awards, in Food Innovation and Digital Design.
Food Innovation
Food Business and Product Innovation is aimed to support food businesses and employees in Ireland as they navigate the changing landscape and look to grow their food businesses or accelerate their career within food businesses.
Digital Design (Launching September 2025)
The Master of Arts in Digital Design aims to upskill those in the creative economy in the digital transformation for creative enterprise, in particular SMEs, to ensure Ireland continues to be an attractive location for digital enterprises, and for digital workers to receive education and upskilling. The course is planned to run from September 2025.
MINOR AWARDS
Higher Education 4.0 has developed or contributed to six Minor Award courses. They are:
SDG Framework
The aim of the programme is to provide an introduction to the theory and application of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with a particular focus on their application in the regional context.
Logistics & Marketing
This course will demonstrate to participants the importance to organisations of using logistic and marketing tools to reaching markets faster with their products and services.
Active & Sustainable Travel (Launching September 2025)
An online learning postgraduate programme facilitating a multidisciplinary approach to sustainable mobility and active travel design for urban roads and streets, promoting placemaking, integrated streets and sustainable neighbourhoods.
Business Models & Emerging Tech (Under Development)
This course will demonstrate to participants how business models and emerging technologies will enable organisations to be innovative and create value for the customer.

Entrepreneurship
This Level 7 Special Purpose Award responds to the needs of industry and will provide a route for graduates who wish to further enhance their professional standing. The programme will enhance the entrepreneurial and agile mindset which is so vital for employees and entrepreneurs in the current dynamic external environment..
